Clinic Outcomes
Occupational Rehabilitation Associates uses fewer visits to improve Injured Worker's perception of their functional ability.
- When compared with similar clinics across the country, Occupational Rehabilitation Associates used only 38% of the visits the other clinics used to produce similar or better improvements in the Injured Worker's perception of their functional improvement according to the independent national external benchmark company FOTO, Inc.
- When compared to these other specialized clinics, Occupational Rehabilitation Associates saw a higher percentage of the most severely disabled patients.
The FOTO, Inc. Survey is a standardized instrument used to evaluate the patient's perception of their functional health. The survey includes a measure of Physical Functional Health Status (FHS) measure, which is the only measure of physical functioning included in the National Quality Measures Clearinghouse (NQMC), a public repository for evidence-based quality measures sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
